How Can Computer Science Contribute to Knowlege Discovery?

To analyze and understand massive datasets and derive or
discover some knowledge from them has becoming a quite
important subject in the fields related to "information".
Computer science is one of the areas that is expected
to contribute to this knowlege discovery task. In this
survey talk, we discuss several problems when we try
to use our tools established in computer science, and
show some technical tools for solving such problems.
